A Regal Omni Atlanta Hotel Wedding for Tanya & Fredo
In summer of 2021, Fredo accompanied his childhood friend to Sabri Guven Fine Jewelry to buy an engagement ring. When he stepped inside, Fredo started snapping photos of the beautiful store like a wide-eyed tourist. However, this move raised instant red flags for the staff, and Tanya, a gemologist at the store, approached him. What began with curiosity quickly turned into a connection, especially when Fredo discovered Tanya was Turkish and replied to her in fluent Turkish. That brief encounter turned into a relationship filled with laughter, shared ambition and soul-deep admiration. “I went there for someone else’s love story,” Fredo recalls, “but I walked out with the start of mine.”
Their wedding celebration began with a traditional Catholic ceremony at St. Joseph Maronite Catholic Church, where the couple exchanged vows surrounded by warm white florals. Tanya walked down the aisle in an intricately beaded and architectural custom gown by Mohammad Murad, purchased from and styled by Elite Pour La Vie — a look fully embodying modern royalty.
Then it was on to Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park for a reception that glamour personified. With towering sculptural cake, mirrored table settings and skyline views, every detail earned its place. A canopy of cascading florals and crystal chandeliers enveloped the dance floor, where Dabke drums reverberated, cold sparklers burst and loved ones danced with abandon.
From that first unexpected meeting to the energetic Zaffa entrance at their reception, it was clear: Fredo may have entered Sabri Guven Fine Jewelry for someone else’s love story, but he left with the beginning of his own.
