For their wedding, the couple envisioned a non-traditional celebration exuding romance and glamor. Shelby and Josh found their perfect venue in Tesserae, the upscale restaurant and lounge located atop the Thompson Atlanta-Buckhead. Its moody, retro-glam aesthetic and breathtaking views set the tone for an unforgettable day.
The terrace ceremony featured the city skyline as a striking backdrop. Shelby and Josh’s rich color palette — deep plum, blush, burgundy, white and green — added warmth and sophistication, complemented by glowing Viva Sand Candles and timeless black-and-white accents. Afterward, guests enjoyed custom cocktails, cascading estate tables and music in Tesserae’s sultry interior. The night ended with a dance floor under the stars, where Tesserae’s floor-to-ceiling glass doors connected the venue’s indoor luxury with outdoor charm.
