From the very beginning, Adelaide and Carter knew they wanted their wedding to be more than just a ceremony — they wanted a full-fledged party. And a full-fledged party they had!
Art nouveau aesthetics flowed throughout the day, beginning with exquisite custom invitations by Studio Miller, setting the tone for the event’s effortlessly stylish details. The Georgia Theatre, a beloved Athens landmark built in 1889, carried on the vintage theme. This venue provided a backdrop rich in character, blending history with the couple’s modern, artistic vision.
Inside, the reception space was a masterpiece. One particularly striking moment featured a breathtaking cake display wall adorned with cakes from Cecilia’s Cake Shop, beautifully interspersed with florals against an art nouveau-inspired backdrop. Throughout the space, guests played a starring role, donning colorful attire that matched the atmosphere. Vibrant florals popped against the historic venue’s vintage charm, setting the scene for a wedding that felt more like a high-energy concert than a traditional affair.
The true crescendo of the evening? The Atlanta Showstoppers kept the energy high, transforming the reception into a live music event. With flashing lights and big musical numbers, the couple and their guests were all smiles on the dance floor. The couple took their final bow in spectacular fashion, stepping onto the stage for one last song alongside the band — an epic finale to a day that was as dazzling as their love story.
From start to finish, Adelaide and Carter’s wedding was a vibrant, joy-filled celebration that reflected their love for life, color, and each other. A standing ovation-worthy event, indeed!
