The Cypress Grove Estate House seemed to be the perfect fit for Nicole and Michael’s simply elegant celebration. The day began with the women getting ready inside the plantation-style house, while the men enjoyed a round of drinks. Bridesmaids wore neutral dresses and carried bouquets of white roses and seeded eucalyptus.
“Lesley from Flowers by Leslie did such an amazing job making sure my vision came together perfectly. I wanted deep red flowers with some white and succulents and a lot of greenery. Lesley helped us learn about what flowers go well together and help us create an amazing vision for the wedding!”
Nicole’s bouquet of white and crimson was a dramatic complement to her delicate fitted lace gown—a house-made design from The Collection Bridal. The couple shared a romantic first look before saying their “I do’s” in a dreamy ceremony on the property’s lakefront as Michael’s uncle officiated.
Guests enjoyed games during cocktail hour before entering an elegant outdoor reception. Rose gold chargers and succulents encased in geometric shapes adorned a combination of wooden farm tables and draped round tables. White and crimson floral arrangements stood at the center of each table, adding a touch of color to the neutral scene. Nicole and Michael took their place at a sweetheart table under a canopy of ivory drapery.
After a delicious dinner by Big City Catering, guests were treated to a slice of amaretto cake by Party Flavors Custom Cakes. In addition, the dessert table was filled with various treats and a chocolate raspberry groom’s cake with a Florida State football logo on top. The newlyweds shared a first dance under glowing string lights and a night sky. The evening’s festivities wrapped up with a confetti-filled exit.
