A Modern Regency Inspired Styled Shoot

This modern regency inspired shoot was hosted and photographed by Torianna Brooke Photography

Southeastern Georgia wedding vendors produced this modern regency styled shoot with high school sweethearts, Mariam and Criss, as the doting couple. This team of vendors created what is truly a lowcountry, fine art editorial. The shoot was planned and made possible by Torianna Brooke Portraiture’s The Primrose Bridal Journal sub-brand. Above all, the Regency Era and the 2004 film, The Notebook inspired this photo scene. And Chande Pines‘ venue in Pembroke, GA served as the perfect backdrop for the modern regency inspiration.

Femininity, bows, delicate florals and texture mark the modern regency aesthetic. This reemerging design era is thanks to recent media attention. For instance, the series “Bridgerton” (Netflix) or “The Great” (Hulu). In the same vein, the admiration Jane Austen’s works is another everlasting influence. A 19th century meets 21st century aesthetic achieved this desired style for the shoot. The fresh color palette of blue and raspberry florals, a contemporary bridal gown with floral appliqués and elegant vintage china settings all contributed to this timeless vision.
