A rich and effortless love story is what brought this classic Atlanta wedding to life, and a subtle color palette, intimate setting and elegant details tied it all together.
Margaret and William got married in Midtown Atlanta with a stunning backdrop of Piedmont Park and the city’s skyline. This space holds a special place in Margaret’s heart, as she grew up visiting the venue with her family for years. Surrounded by pink and white roses and lush greenery, Margaret and William sealed their marriage with a kiss in front of their closest friends and family.
From the photographer: “The love that Margaret and William have for each other is what really drove everything home. You could feel it in the room.”
And with that, the rest of their day fell perfectly into place.
A must-have on the couple’s checklist was for their wedding day to be fun and relaxed. Thanks to their talented photographer-turned-friend, Shelby Willoughby, fun and relaxed is what they got. Margaret and William made sure to set aside pockets of time throughout the day with their photographer to ensure they captured a few solo moments amidst the buzz. Celebrating your unique love story is what a wedding is all about, after all.
From start to finish, the reception was an encapsulation of love, laughter and a few tears. (You can thank the emotional speeches for that one!)
All in all, this perfectly springy affair wouldn’t have been possible without Margaret and William’s vision and the talents of Atlanta planner Sara Divine Weddings. No box was left unchecked: a late-May anniversary, a simple and timeless Sarah Seven gown, and light and airy photos to remember it by.
