Occasional Occasions Catering LLC, founded in 1994 by Chef Carlton A. Brown, is praised for its dynamic flavors and unique presentations. In 2020, the company merged with Christopher Fitzpatrick’s The Savory Plate LLC, combining over 50 years of collective catering experience. We are a boutique-style, custom caterer specializing in Contemporary Southern fusion for corporate and private clients across the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. Our expanded offerings also provide an upscale, intimate dining experience, “Entertaining At Home.”

Chef Brown, a Certified Professional Catering Executive (CPCE), leads the culinary team alongside Corporate Chef Fitzpatrick, who brings over 20 years of global event production expertise. Both chefs hold a certificate from the prestigious Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

Our Wedding Tier is curated specifically for milestone celebrations that demand meticulous planning and a sophisticated flair. Whether you are hosting a black-tie reception in Buckhead or a romantic garden gala in Historic Roswell, we provide all-inclusive services that cover every detail. Our comprehensive support includes: • Custom-Designed Menus: Tailored to your unique palate and vision. • End-to-End Logistics: Seamless coordination from the first tasting to the final toast. • Professional Waitstaff: Impeccable, white-glove service that anticipates every guest's needs. At Occasional Occasions, we believe our longevity is a result of our unwavering commitment to the details. We handle the complexities of the day so that you can focus entirely on the memories.
Prices & Fees:
We offer three levels of service:
DROP OFF SERVICE (Food Only):
Box Lunches: Our prices range @ $15 per person
General drop-off service for food only, averages from $20-$40 per person. This service includes wire chafing racks, sterno fuel, and basic disposable plates, cups (if beverages are part of your package), eating utensils, serving utensils, and paper napkins.
PRESENTATION SETUP AND RETURN PICK-UP SERVICE:
Menu selection (food-only pricing) + @ $600+, depending on guest count. This service includes a creative buffet design with linens and decorations, stainless steel chafing dishes, white porcelain platters and dishes, and silver serving utensils. We use premium disposable plates, cups (if beverages are part of your package), and flatware; however, you may choose to upgrade to China, glassware, and silverware.
FULLY STAFFED SERVICE EVENT:
Pricing averages (based on a guest list of 50) @ $75+ per person, depending on guest count and level of service required. Our team will arrive at least 2 hours before your event and will be with you from start to finish. This service includes a creative buffet design with linens and decorations, stainless steel chafing dishes, white porcelain platters and dishes, and silver serving utensils. You will have a full complement of staff, based on your guest count, to set up the buffet, assist with serving your guests, and replenish food as needed.
