Maggie and Jake’s Garden-Party Celebration at Primrose Cottage
Surrounded by friends and family in the blossoming courtyard of Primrose Cottage, Maggie and Jake exchanged vows in a celebration that perfectly blended tradition, charm, and personal touches.
To start the day, Maggie and Jake had a sentimental first look in the venue’s gardens. Surrounded by flowering azalea shrubs, the couple exchanged their vows privately. Their wedding party then joined Maggie and Jake for photos around Primrose Cottage’s scenic grounds. Maggie’s bridesmaids donned gowns in shades of pastel purples, harmonizing beautifully with the groomsmen’s stone blue suits and flower pocket squares. The couple and their friends grinned ear-to-ear in these moments before the official celebration began, setting the tone for a perfect day.
The ceremony, set against the picturesque backdrop of an arbor adorned with lush greenery and florals, was oh-so-lovely. Honoring Maggie’s Jewish heritage, the couple ended the ceremony with a traditional breaking of the glass, symbolizing life’s fragility and underscoring the need for care and commitment in a marriage.
As echoes of “Mazel Tov!” shouts resounded, loved ones were treated to a cocktail hour in the garden, where they could mingle and soak in the atmosphere of the historic home. The evening continued as guests were invited to the reception, where flower crowns awaited them for taking Polaroid photos for the guest book. The reception decor was picture-perfect, with greenery cascading from chandeliers and garden-style floral arrangements accented by soft candlelight.
The ballroom reception that followed was filled with joy and laughter. Maggie and Jake added a fun twist by doing a “photo dash,” ensuring they had a picture with each guest table and, later, a group shot with everyone on the dance floor.
As the evening wound down, Maggie and Jake shared a private final dance, a quiet moment together before the excitement of the bubble exit began. With bubbles floating through the air, they were whisked away to an after-party in downtown Roswell in a vintage car—a fitting end to a day that was as magical as it was memorable.
