Tricia and Michael’s Atlanta History Center wedding was as classic as it gets. With a vision of timeless black-and-white sophistication, the couple, along with their toddler son, Leo, celebrated in style at one of Atlanta’s most iconic venues.
For Tricia and Michael, the The Swan House at the Atlanta History Center wasn’t just a dream location, it was the location. Its iconic fountain steps and 1920s architecture set the stage for their black-tie spring wedding, while Gloria Schulz Events planned each detail with care. The historic elegance of the Atlanta History Center gave the day a natural grandeur that perfectly matched the couple’s vision.
Florals played a leading role. White roses, baby’s breath and glowing candlelight gave warmth to the grandeurof the space. For the ceremony, Flowers by Yona created two cascading installations that seemed to flow down the steps and alongside the fountain itself, a backdrop that felt both dramatic and romantic.
The reception carried that same refined spirit. Inside the Grand Overlook Ballroom, a bold black-and-white dance floor became the room’s centerpiece, with a long estate table drawing guests together. White linens, low floral arrangements and flickering candles filled the room with a glow. Even the cake reflected the theme — a three-tier Lambeth-style design by Cake Envy that looked regal and tasted unforgettable.
Still, what guests will remember most wasn’t the design. It was the joy that radiated from Tricia and Michael, and the way they celebrated alongside their families, friends and especially Leo. At just three years old, he managed to steal the spotlight in the sweetest way. The day was elegant and polished, yet also warm and personal — a perfect reflection of a couple.
