Trendy & Stylish Gold and Pink Wedding at Villa de Suenos on St. Simons Island, GA
Festooned with canopies of Spanish moss-draped live oaks, Gascoigne Bluff on St. Simons Island is an enchanting and entirely irresistible ceremony venue. Sarah – who is the artist behind Sarah Eubanks Photography – had shot weddings on the island more than once and fell in love with the space, so when she and Mark got engaged, it was a no-brainer. After dodging the shower that threatened to erupt all afternoon, the couple floated down the moss and floral lined aisle. Sarah found her gown, a flirty strapless fit-and-flare Hayley Paige gown with a dupioni silk bodice and skirt of tulle with horsehair trim, at Wedding Angels Bridal Boutique. She accented her look with a playful J. Crew necklace and a colorful bouquet of anemones, peonies, and greenery designed by Atlanta event designers at Everything & More Events and TruSo Weddings. The bridesmaids chose their own sequin-embroidered gowns in varying shades of gold and rose gold and the groomsmen donned light grey. After the ceremony ended, the party made its way to the beachside private residence rental, Villa de Suenos for their reception where guests gathered around the pool on the veranda and overlooked the sparkling ocean. Twinkling string lights shone above as a Southern coastal style meal was served by Halyards Catering before the newlyweds cut into their two-tier white cake that Sarah’s mother had hand-painted with a floral design. At the end of the night, Mark mounted the stage with his old high school and college bandmates for some nostalgic melodies while his new bride and their guests crowded the dance floor. Atlanta-based wedding photography team at Tulle and Grace captured every detail of the couples’ special day, while Rebekah B. Photography, an Atlanta videographer and photographer, created a reel for the newlyweds to watch for years to come.
