Personalized Navy Blue Winter Wedding at Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota, FL
Charming. Romantic. Fairytale-worthy. All the adjectives that a couple could want to describe their wedding could apply to Jen and Bobby’s special day. Their nuptials began at St. Martha’s Catholic Church in Sarasota for a traditional ceremony with their closest friends and family. Jen wowed everyone present in a sleeveless lace gown, holding a texture-rich bouquet of soft ivory roses and pops of navy from anemones arranged by Lakeland, FL wedding planner Laura Helm of Ashton Events. Her bridesmaids attended in mismatched navy dresses of lace and sequins of their own choosing while the groom and his men sported classic black tuxedos and anemone boutonnières. The cocktail hour took place that evening on the Powel Crosley Estate, a Sarasota wedding venue, where guests meandered in and out of the house and reveled in the evening air from the patio. On the grounds of the estate, the reception was a perfect cohesion of romantic and glamorous, with wooden farmhouse tables, candles, textured champagne linens, and an abundance of flowers. Over the dance floor was a chandelier draped in ribbons with the guests’ names inscribed on each and as each ribbon was removed, a monogram on the floor was revealed. Vintage furniture on the patio and personalized details throughout gave the event unending charm. The couple chose a small three-tiered cake by Tampa wedding cake designers at Hands on Sweets, supplemented by cherry pies made by Bobby’s dad. The guests wandered from stations of some of the newlyweds favorite foods by Tampa event catering company Good Food Events + Catering to a cigar bar and an espresso bar on the patio. As the sky darkened and the evening drew to a close, Jen and Bobby made a faux exit and instead led the guests to an after party and a long night of dancing!
