Rock the Aisle: 2024 Grammys-Inspired Bridal Fashions
The Grammys red carpet has always been known for producing some of the most iconic fashion looks, from Cardi B’s Vintage Thierry Mugler in 2019 to Jennifer Lopez’s tropical and sultry Versace look in 2000. This past weekend’s 2024 Grammy Awards was no exception. Amidst all the stunning formalwear looks, we also saw so many bridal-inspired ensembles gracing music icons.

The Gowns
Taylor Swift in Schiaparelli
Taylor Swift wearing a white gown “Hits Different.” The dramatic black gloves, layered jewelry, and dramatic leg slits are some things we certainly can see brides adopting in their 2024 weddings. Not only did Swift walk away from the evening with an Album of the Year win, but also undeniably one of the best dressed on the carpet.

Olivia Rodrigo in vintage Versace
Vintage and archival looks are always a good idea when it comes to bridal fashion. With six nominations and a killer performance of her Record of the Year-nominated song, “Vampire,” Olivia Rodrigo turned heads in this 1995 Versace gown. We love the subtle red beading on this look – it’s the perfect way to add a kiss touch of color to your aisle style.

Summer Walker in Usama Ishtay
We’re calling it – feathers are the new sequin. Best R&B Album nominee Summer Walker wore this stunning snatched-yet-voluminous feather gown by Syrian-Venezuelan designer Usama Ishtay. And we can’t ignore the dramatic matching hat! If feathers are the new sequins, then hats are the new veil – and we are here for it.

Madison Beer in Marmar Halim
Perhaps the most overtly bridal look of the night, Madison Beer wore a voluminous duchess satin ballgown by Egyptian designer Marmar Halim. The first-time nominee (for Best Immersive Audio Album) had us absolutely “Spinnin’” with joy seeing this bow-accented and aisle-ready ensemble.

Kat Graham in Stéphane Rolland
Recording Academy/GRAMMYs Trustee Kat Graham gave us a dramatic and unconventional wedding gown-inspired look. This geometric gown by French designer Stéphane Rolland showcased some of our favorite bridal trends, including a cape, high neckline, lengthy train and opera gloves.

Kelly Clarkson in Jason Wu
It doesn’t get more bridal than this! Best Pop Vocal Album nominee Kelly Clarkson gave off a classic bridal look in a custom, sculpted porcelain white gown by Jason Wu. Ms. Clarkson, “Because of You” we sense the Old Hollywood aesthetic hitting the wedding fashion scene with force!

The Suiting
Maluma in Dolce & Gabbana
Best Latin Pop Album nominee Maluma’s Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo gives a gentle nod to the 1970s with its wide lapel and butterfly bowtie. Contrasting Christian Louboutin shoes and a Joseph & Co. Astronomia Tourbillon ruby-adorned watch are the accessories that really bring Maluma’s look together. When dressing for your wedding, it’s fun to try something different but don’t be afraid to stick to what is truly your style. Adding details like Maluma’s diamond-encrusted custom earbuds add personality but with an elevated touch.
Lisa Parigi (and Lionel Richie) in Schiaparelli
Perfect for both the aisle and the courthouse, Lisa Parigi’s white three-piece suit by Schiaparelli was tailored to perfection and let her own beauty shine. We love how the Glow Up Beauty and The Estate Collection founder wore the blazer draped off her shoulders like a cape – it’s all about the styling!

Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker of boygenius in Thom Browne
The artists of boygenius had an eventful evening and looked sharp doing it. Winners of Best Rock Performance, Best Alternative Music Album and Best Rock Song, boygenius (consisting of Julien Baker, Lucy Dacus and Phoebe Bridgers), wore matching cream, moire silk Thom Browne suits, accessorized with pink carnations and “Artists for Ceasefire” pins. We love the idea of a couple wearing matching ensembles like this on their wedding day and can’t wait to see it in action.

Trevor Noah in Tom Ford
Comedian Trevor Noah had the honor of hosting the Grammys for his fourth consecutive year. Noah kept the crowd laughing all evening and looked classically handsome doing it in a creme Tom Ford tuxedo, which has become a signature look for him. What really brought the look together was a citrine, diamond and a pink sapphire Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany brooch. Fine jewelry brooches just might be the new boutionierre!

Chris Appleton in Louis Vuitton
The hair stylist to the stars, Chris Appleton, showed the perfect way to jazz up a tuxedo. The Louis Vuitton look consisted of flared trousers paired with a contrasting white jacket and a ruby-studded broach. We can’t help but be drawn to this dramatic yet timeless aisle look.

Lainey Wilson in Balmain
When it comes to women’s suits, it doesn’t get better than this. Best Country Album winner Lainey Wilson nods to her album, “Bell Bottom Country,” with this flare-pant suit from Balmain. Featuring Balmain’s signature dramatic gold accouterments, this look adds glamour and modernity to a traditional black suit.

The Reception Look
Halle Bailey in Gucci
Glowing like a true “Angel,” Halle Bailey is ready to get the party started in this Gucci look. Bailey, nominated for Best R&B Song, donned a sultry nearly-nude gown bedecked in rows of glimmering sequins. To pull the look together, she accented her plunging neckline with a diamond lariat necklace. We love the idea of keeping your ceremony jewelry the same but changing up the dress for a cohesive wedding day look.

Dua Lipa in Courrèges
We’ve been loving metallic party looks for reception outfit changes, and Dua Lipa certainly looked ready to “Dance the Night Away.” This Song of the Year nominee wore a custom, armor-esque Courrèges gown with statement Tiffany & Co jewelry, creating a party look any wedding guest would remember for ages.

Holly Laessig and Jess Wolfe in The Vampire’s Wife
Holly Laessig and Jess Wolfe of indie pop band Lucius wore coordinating metallic frocks that are just begging to be taken for a twirl on the reception dance floor. We love second looks that allow for optimal dancing, and this lamé dress by The Vampire’s Wife is giving us “Heartbursts.”
