Madeline & Quinn’s Bright and Airy Christ the King & Upstairs Atlanta Wedding
Perfectly capturing the excitement of spring and the joy of starting a new chapter, Madeline and Quinn’s wedding day exuded bright and airy elegance. While this fresh vision was beautiful, what mattered most to the couple was creating a celebration that reflected their values. And, of course, savoring the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have everyone they love in the same room.
When Quinn first messaged Madeline on Hinge, she left him on read. A few weeks later, he followed up with a witty remark: “Electric conversation we have going here.” Intrigued by his humor, Madeline gave him a chance. Their first date was on an unassuming Tuesday night at The James Room on the Beltline. Afterward, Madeline called her best friend and raved that it was the best date she had ever been on. She even caught herself thinking, “This could be the last first date I ever go on.” And two years later, Quinn proposed at Ponce City Rooftop — proving her instincts were right.
Playful moments defined Madeline and Quinn’s wedding day. One especially sweet surprise came during the first look. Quinn, anxiously waiting to see his bride, turned around to instead find their miniature dachshund, Pennie, wagging her tail in a little white dress. Soon after, he had his actual first look with Madeline, but this moment set the tone for the day ahead.
For the ceremony, Christ the King was a natural choice. Faith is a cornerstone of Madeline and Quinn’s relationship, and Madeline shared, “The relationships we have built within this community have enriched our lives, and we were excited to celebrate our union in a place that has been so integral to our faith and relationship.”
Following the traditional Catholic service, celebrations continued at Upstairs Atlanta, a Glenwood Park blacksmith shop turned modern venue. The airy and bright reception with all-white florals and customized favors awaited guests. A family-style dinner with plates passed around the table had guests feeling like they were gathered for a cozy Thanksgiving meal.
As the last spins were made on the checkered dance floor, Madeline and Quinn recall feeling overwhelmed with gratitude. Surrounded by unwavering support, they reflected, “We were blessed to begin our journey together surrounded by such warmth and happiness.”
