Dana & Frank’s Blush & Buttercream Wedding at Four Seasons Atlanta
On a summer day at the Four Seasons Atlanta, Dana and Frank wedded in an atmosphere absolutely radiating with polished sophistication. Amidst mirrored metallics, satin ribbons and hues of blush and buttercream, their soirée was a vision of Southern elegance.
Dana and Frank met by chance in 2017, bonding over niche commonalities and an immediate connection. Despite living 600 miles apart — Dana in Atlanta and Frank in Washington, D.C. — they maintained a long-distance relationship for nearly three years. In March 2020, their routine was unexpectedly disrupted; what was supposed to be a weekend visit turned into six months of Frank living out of a backpack at Dana’s condo due to COVID lockdowns. However, this uncertain time brought them even closer, solidifying that they were truly meant to be.
Understanding the importance of personal touches, Dana and Frank infused their wedding with thoughtful details. As guests entered the romantically decorated reception venue, they were welcomed by a seating chart crafted from individual Ladurée macaron boxes. Nearby, a caviar and champagne cart set a refined tone for the evening, while lighthearted elements, like custom linen napkins featuring an illustration of their Maltese and a monogrammed espresso martini ice luge, added a playful flair.
On their wedding day, the hospitable spirit that brought Dana and Frank together shone brightly, perfectly reflecting the essence of their relationship. From the presence of their dog, Coconut, to the handcrafted welcome boxes full of local goodies, the couple created a weekend experience that made every guest feel included and cherished.
