An intentionally curated welcome bag welcomed guests into the wedding weekend, reflecting Southern hospitality. Inside, they found a cookbook filled with family recipes, local treats, and a custom cookie shaped like the couple’s beloved golden retrievers, Maggie and Reese. These furry family members weren’t just represented in edible form—they played a starring role throughout the weekend.
During the cocktail hour, Maggie and Reese made a surprise appearance, much to the delight of the guests. Adorned in floral wreath collars, the golden retrievers wagged their tails and mingled with the crowd, adding a playful and personal touch to the festivities. Grant even paid homage to the pups with his stylish golden retriever-printed suspenders, a fun detail that didn’t go unnoticed.
