moments for our clients.”
Chef Alexis Valentine is a chef by trade and a caregiver by nature. Valentine began his culinary
training early as pupil of his mother, who was also a chef. “Cooking is spiritual
for me, and making it my career was always a calling of mine; I always knew it was my
purpose.”
After training professionally in New York City, Valentine found himself cooking for some of the
best restaurants in Fort Lauderdale, where he met his business partner, Leo. The two later
relocated their new business to Raleigh, where they began taking on private clients before
moving to Atlanta.
AV Gourmet was born out of a need for a catering service that provided highly-personalized
customer service and an element of creativity not normally seen in most catering companies.
“Our clients love the high level of personalization and care that goes into every menu we
create,” says Valentine. “At AV Gourmet, we place a strong emphasis on exquisite customer
service and carefully curated selections that fit each client’s unique personality and story. No two menus at AV Gourmet are the same.
