Atlanta Style Weddings 2024 Issue Release Party at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center
On January 17, 2024, the Atlanta wedding scene was abuzz with excitement at our inaugural Atlanta Style Weddings magazine release party. At Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, we welcomed about 250 industry professionals, real Atlanta newlyweds and wedding enthusiasts to celebrate love and the art of matrimony.
The Perfect Place
Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, one of Atlanta’s most breathtaking venues, set the stage for our celebrations. With its old-world craftsmanship and historic atmosphere, the venue perfectly complemented the glamorous essence of our celebration. Within the 27,000+ square-foot mansion, we utilized the stunning Grand Staircase, Indoor Courtyard, Great Hall, Dining Room, Music Room and Library. Each setting offered guests awe at every turn!
Callanwolde, entrusted to the Callanwolde Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit, operates off of a mission to provide the Atlanta community with premier, accessible arts education, especially to the underserved, while promoting enjoyment of the arts at the historic and inspiring Callanwolde estate.
Setting the Scene
The celebration wouldn’t have been possible without the brilliant planning of Gloria Schulz Events. Together, we crafted a truly special ambiance by curating sponsorships that showed off some of the city’s finest vendors.
Guests were welcomed through a gold and black balloon arch by GAALS and art-deco-inspired signage and nametags by Paper Daisies Stationery. As a special keepsake, Meaningful Frames had guests participate in an alternative guest book experience, with everyone signing their name on wooden hearts and dropping them into a custom guest book frame.
With impeccable event design by Gloria Schulz Events and remarkable floral displays by Urban Blooms Atlanta, the venue transformed into a glamourous Old Hollywood scene. Chic rentals and decor from CM Production and The Rental Place and linens from Nüage Designs provided an array of photo-worth celebration settings.
How Entertaining
AMP’D ENTERTAINMENT set the soundtrack for the night and kept things lively, while a custom dancefloor from Atlanta Dance Floor Rentals set the scene for fun. But guest entertainment didn’t stop there! Against magazine cover-inspired photo booth frames, ShutterBooth ATL captured smiling faces all evening long. Nearby, Handy Entertainment provided lip-print analysis readings to guests and Haikuists offered live typewritten poetry. Talk about special keepsakes!

Looking Good!
Our Atlanta Style Weddings team wanted to look and feel our best, so we enlisted the help of Babeland Bridal and Tiff’s Lux-Re. Babeland Bridal did the hair styling and makeup for our whole team, while Tiff’s Lux-Re Boutique dressed us to the nines. Altogether, we were ready to shine and reveal our new issue to the world!
