Megan & Brandon in a Swiftie Wonderland

Planner Deianna Hamilton of of Your Big Day ATL lovingly refers to Megan and Brandon’s wedding as a Taylor Swift garden wonderland. “It was inspired by one of [the bride’s] favorite artists, Taylor Swift,” says the planner. From the signage to the disco balls (*ahem – mirrorballs*) to the florals, the couple wanted to make sure this theme rang true throughout.

Wanting a spring-garden-party, Wahoo! Grill was a natural choice for venue. This neighborhood bistro in Decatur is in the heart of the city. But its intimate courtyard felt like a tumble down the rabbit hole into wonderland. Since it was an outdoor venue, Your Big Day ATL was able to organically tie in the theme. With a cotton candy pastel color palette and coordinating blooms by Caroline Worth Design, the intimate setting blossomed. The bride works in digital marketing for a floral delivery service, so beautiful blooms were to be expected!

For a special escort chart, they created a champagne bookshelf, with each glass accented with a delicate acrylic butterfly. These butterflies indicated the guest’s name and table number. This is such a darling detail and a nod to Taylor Swift’s “Lover” and debut album eras.

Overall, this wedding was so true to Megan and Brandon, their love and their passions. The result was a step into wonderland that their guests would remember.
