Styled Wedding at a Historic Southern Home

So much thought and detail went into our styled shoot, I really wanted to create a mix of a modern affair at on old southern home, Crescent Bend Home and Gardens. We wanted to bring a little old world charm into our lux wedding theme. Lauren with Blush and Honey Paper Co. curate a custom watercolor invitation suite, it was hand painted and absolutely darling. This was another way we incorporated our classy theme, and yet had something entirely original.

Lesley with LB Floral did a gorgeous spread of brightly colored spring arrangements. The simple pop of color was stunning against the white home. She incorporated ribbon to match the plush roses in the bouquet. For the head table centerpiece, the florist draped it with ethereal greenery to the floor. The table top was filled with candle votives and gold candlesticks, and small floral arrangements. We added a pomegranate on each plate to add a some color to the classic, gold rimmed white dinner plates. The gold rimmed stemware from All Occasions Party Rentals went perfectly with the hint of gold used throughout.

Prestige Tuxedo provided the grooms attire complementing the luxe theme, I loved the champagne color tie with our other gold accents. We found two gorgeous dresses at the Gilded Gown, we could choose just one to feature on our model so we shot both. The last details were in the cake by Maggie Cakes, she created a ‘semi’ naked cake for the shoot, I loved the color of the cake layers coming through.
