Picturesque Seaside Wedding on Sea Island, GA

To kick off the weekend Michael and her attendants gathered at Nancy for a sophisticated lunch and an afternoon of shopping while Jon and his groomsmen enjoyed a seaside BBQ lunch at Southern Tide and some relaxing beach time. Friday evening Jon’s family hosted a traditional low country boil on Rainbow Island where the bride and groom were greeted by family and friends and enjoyed a laid back evening as they watched the sunset over the Frederica River. The wedding ceremony was held in a garden on the Cloister grounds and was outfitted with several floral arrangements, bentwood chairs and a greenery adorned swing. An oceanfront tent  featuring hanging floral centerpieces, greenery bar and comfortable lounge seating set the scene for the reception which immediately followed the ceremony. With such a beautiful natural setting, the floral, furniture and accent details were selected to complement the blues and greens of the ocean front beach club setting on Sea Island. One wedding trend we are thrilled this couple elected to hop on board with is a live painting completed throughout the reception to commemorate the big day.  Michael and Jon danced the night away in the sea breeze with their closest family and friends. The clear span tent gave way to the twinkling stars above to add a dazzling effect to send the couple off in style. We wish Michael and Jon the happiest and healthiest of marriages and thank them for the opportunity to assist in making their wedding dreams come true.
