Tamara & Chris’s Botanical Fairytale
On an overcast day in May, Tamara and Chris’ botanical wedding came to life against the idyllic backdrop of The Wildflower 301. With sprouting florals, butterfly details and s’mores favors around a fire pit, this wedding was truly a picturesque celebration.
Early in their relationship, the couple bonded over taking walks in the park, engaging in prayer sessions together and exploring the great outdoors. With a shared love of nature, Chris proposed to Tamara at the South Carolina Botanical Garden in Greenville, setting the tone for their next blossoming chapter.
A garden venue was a must-have for the couple, and The Wildflower 301 offered everything they dreamt of. The lush grounds, expansive reception space and enchanting twinkle lights throughout provided a stunning backdrop for their spring wedding.
Standing beneath overcast skies on their wedding day, divine intervention held off the rain during the ceremony. Although worried for a bit, they were able to have their dream outdoor ceremony under the cathedral-style backdrop of the venue’s lush English gardens.
After the ceremony, the celebrations continued in the historic mansion. The timeless architecture and well- preserved interiors of the 1809 house blended effortlessly with the couple’s modern touches, creating a classic and contemporary vision.
Love and celebration intertwined in every corner of this stunning wedding — from the verdant garden ceremony to the sparkler exit. Surrounded by the serenity of nature, Tamara and Chris began their journey as a married couple, embracing beauty that mirrored their own blooming love.
