Spring Boho Bliss for Rebecca and Jeremy
Against the backdrop of Rocky’s Lake Estate, Rebecca and Jeremy’s romantic spring boho wedding welcomed in new chapter in their lives. The couple’s love story began as a friendship and blossomed into a journey of understanding, acceptance and shared dreams. As a result, their wedding was a testament to the beauty of different backgrounds coming together in perfect harmony.
Rocky’s Lake Estate: A Hidden Gem
Tucked away in Woodstock, Rocky’s Lake Estate offered a picturesque haven in a natural setting. It was only the second venue the couple toured, but as soon as they arrived they knew it was the one. They wanted an outdoor wedding and Rocky’s Lake Estate’s beautifully landscaped grounds took their breath away. The glimmering lake, pavilion bedecked with twinkle lights and enchanting floral landscaping created a whimsical atmosphere.
The ceremony area overlooked the lake and sailboat and the reception area, adorned with wood beams and built around a tree trunk, required minimal additional decor. The venue’s inherent beauty allowed Rebecca and Jeremy to focus on personal touches that truly mattered.
A Blossoming Affair
With the end of March marking the beginning of spring, it was the perfect time for Rebecca and Jeremy to bring their vision of a spring boho wedding to life. Nature cooperated graciously as the venue bloomed with flowers of all kinds.
The bride’s request for pampas grass and the incorporation of Butterfly Ranunculus flowers brought a unique touch to the floral arrangements. The pampas grass-lined aisle, lanterns and Eucalyptus green bridesmaids’ dresses set the stage for the spring boho aesthetic.
A Fusion of Faiths
Rebecca and Jeremy embraced their different cultural backgrounds and faiths, choosing to incorporate elements from both Jewish and Christian traditions into their wedding. The breaking of the glass and the lively Horah dance represented Rebecca’s Jewish customs, while Christian prayers seamlessly blended with the ceremony. The couple’s openness to each other’s backgrounds was evident in the harmonious fusion of traditions, creating a ceremony that was rich with symbolism and meaning.
Making it Personal
As the sun set on their magical day, the reception area seamlessly extended the spring boho theme. Reflecting the couple’s shared passion for cooking, they translated it into unique wedding favors – dainty olive oil bottles adorned with the label “Olive our Love” – a gesture that was both heartfelt and delicious. To add another personal touch, koozies featuring an illustration of their beloved Border Collie, Patches, were a delightful addition. This allowed guests to take an adorable piece of the couple’s life home with them.
Besides a lively dance floor, the evening remained engaging with a gazebo-set cigar bar and classic games like cornhole. The reception, graced by just over 100 cherished guests, radiated an atmosphere of intimate celebration and boundless joy.
