Rustic Romantic Wedding at Up the Creek Farms
The lush oak trees and rolling greens were the perfect backdrop for Katie and Shane’s December wedding at Up the Creek Farms. Katie and her bridesmaids enjoyed the bridal suite at the Decklan House (a 150 year old farmhouse on the venues property) for their final touches before the ceremony. A memorable first touch was shared before the ceremony – a great way to calm any nerves and butterflies if you are forgoing a first look!
The ceremony and reception settings were dotted with wood tones, greenery and neutral colors to keep a natural and beautiful feel to their wedding. The couple chose a vintage lounge area from our sister company Crystal and Crates Vintage Rentals that was set under the oak trees. Farm tables with greenery runners brought the wood tones inside for the reception. Katie and Shane danced their first dance to “Feels like Home” and shared a last dance alone in the Boathouse before a sparkler exit to “Forever and Ever Amen“. It was an absolutely stunning day for for this amazing couple!
