Old World Meets Vintage Flair Wedding at the Historic Avon Theater in Birmingham, AL
Sarah Corinne and David celebrated their “I do” with 275 of their friends and family members at the beloved Avon Theater in Birmingham, Alabama. The theater is a historic gem, offering an old world meets vintage flair to their wedding design, which made for the prettiest black tie wedding reception following their classic church ceremony at Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church.
The entire day was captured beautifully by Heather Durham Photography. From their perfectly timeless invitation suite from William Arthur via Crane to the formal arrangements by Susan Huff, when it came to the overall design, effortless elegance was the theme of the day. Sarah Corinne looked like a classic Hollywood star in her off-the-shoulder lace Heidi Elnora dress and chignon updo. David and his groomsmen also looked the part in their Jos. A. Bank tuxes with bowties. The bridesmaids donned the prettiest Amsale via Bella Bridesmaids gowns in a soft blue hue.
Cafe IZ provided a meal that left everyone’s plates empty and bellies full. Then for dessert, Pastry Art Bake Shoppe made sweet little petit fours to accompany the bride and groom’s cake. And the groom’s cake was even sweeter as it was a nod to the groom’s alma mater – a chocolate cake and petit fours combination in Auburn colors! Music Garden Bands’ Creativity kept the party going and guests dancing into the evening until it was time for this sweet couple’s sendoff into their happily ever after.
