Citrus Inspired Wedding at Up The Creek Farm
Let’s take a trip back to Old Florida. This wedding is all about showing tribute to the Sunshine State’s rich history and all things citrus. And when it comes to Old Florida, it’s all about the details.
Welcome to Up The Creek Farms, an old vintage boathouse venue that caters to the vintage, laid-back bride. The venue gets its name from Goat reek, an estuary to the Indian River Lagoon running through the property line. Underwater natives include manatees, turtles, and countless species of fish.
Situated on over eight secluded acres, Up the Creek Farms epitomizes Old Florida’s charm. The venue spans across eight acres of land with a beautiful oak canopy, lively creek, and lush landscaping.
When it comes to vintage weddings, there’s no shortage of gems in this shoot. A classic wood-framed boathouse sits on the west side of the property and is the perfect blank slate reception space. Nestled on the east side, you’ll find a 140-year-old restored farmhouse turned bed & breakfast – perfect for intimate bridal sessions and getting ready.
Indian River County is known for being a hidden gem amongst the explosion of development in South Florida. Somehow, our small county has managed to retain it’s quaint, charming atmosphere and hold it’s original beauty. Citrus from one of our own local groves, vintage styling from Crystal and Crates – finish it off with our vintage Ford Truck and we are truly in vintage Florida paradise!
