Therese & Donald’s Luxurious Wedding at The Don CeSar
Persistence paid off in the story of how Therese and Donald started dating. When he initially messaged her on Match.com, Therese responded that she didn’t think they were a good match and wished him luck. Undeterred, Donald eventually wooed her with funny notes and check-ins until the two decided to meet — and it was amazing. A drinks date turned into dinner, and they ended up closing down the restaurant.
Therese and Donald celebrated their love with a lavish New Year’s Eve wedding, ringing in 2020 with a formal black-tie ceremony. The winter wonderland theme made for photographic backdrops at every turn with dramatic florals and silver trees.
“The décor was luxe with velvet and textured fabric,” Therese says. “There were lots of lights, full floral arrangements and several wow-factors throughout the wedding. This was meant not only to be visually pleasing to the eye but also to provide a sensory trigger for guests to touch and taste all the things that were put in their way.”
After the sit-down dinner, guests went up to the rooftop of The Don CeSar hotel and watched the New Year’s Eve fireworks before heading into the couple’s after-party where a DJ kept everyone dancing for hours.
Therese said she could not have done the wedding without their wedding planner and florist, who brought her dream to life perfectly.
