Luxe Greenery-Filled Gold Wedding at The Alfond Inn in Winter Park, FL
The February morning dawned crisp and clear in Kasey and Drew’s “future hometown” of Winter Park, Florida. Within ten minutes of touring Orlando wedding venue, The Alfond Inn, the couple knew that this space would be the perfect backdrop for their nuptials – each portion of the evening would flow so smoothly from one space to another. To the soft sounds of the Classern String Quartet, Kasey floated down the aisle in a simple, but overwhelmingly elegant off-the-shoulder gown surrounded by a wedding party in understated topaz gowns and classic black tuxes. The bride and her attendants clutched lush bouquets of large roses garnished with fern and baby’s breath in beautiful neutrals that complemented the abundant greenery appearing throughout the venue. Tickled Pink Brides and Arrangements Floral Studio gave the affair a natural, untamed yet somehow elegant feel. After the ceremony, the party moved from the courtyard to the atrium for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres then to the ballroom for a seated dinner and reception. The wedding was catered by the Inn, so guests noshed on delectable courses while the newlyweds cut into a rose-trimmed four-tiered chocolate and vanilla buttercream cake designed by Orlando wedding cake designers at The Sugar Suite. A few other wedding traditions, however, were dispensed in the name of more time for celebration. So as the night wore on, speeches were made, guests danced like it was going out of style, and glasses were raised to a hopeful, happy, beautiful future. Amalie Orrange Photography, an Orlando wedding photographer, captured every detail of the couples’ big day while Orlando wedding videographer Seltzer Films created a reel of special moments for the newlyweds to enjoy for years to come.
