For Loren and Arter, what began as casual swipes on Hinge turned into something real. Loren from Covington, GA, and Arter from Warner Robins, GA, especially bonded over learning just how close their hometowns were. It turns out, fate had been nudging them all along. They’d even crossed paths years earlier at Mercer through a cousin, though neither realized it until after their engagement.
Their bond grew through simple joys: cheering through long Saturdays of college football, sweating it out at the gym and swapping plates of southern comfort food and Korean cuisine. In their own words, their relationship is all about family, fun and flavor.
For their ceremony, the couple were drawn to the historic elegance of the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. But the church wasn’t just beautiful. Thirty-six years earlier, Loren’s own parents had stood in the very same place to exchange vows. Carrying that legacy forward made their own “I do” feel both nostalgic and brand new.
