Dreamy Spring Pastel Wedding Inspiration
The whole inspiration around this shoot stemmed from the lush Spanish moss and maze garden at the Musgrove Retreat Center in St. Simon’s Island. The pastel palette incorporated throughout the space — from the tablescapes to the bridesmaid dresses — helped bring that vision to life and created a timeless and elegant feel.
We really wanted to encapsulate the effervescence of spring. What added to the whimsical feel was the small butterflies placed amongst the florals and tableware. And the springtime inspiration was carried forward with the two-tier cake anointed with sugar flowers along the edge of the scripted vows. The color palette always ties everything together. All of the elements echo off each other to create a bold statement, even though the overall feel is very soft and beautiful. The bride and bridesmaid wore designer dresses that were floral and feminine while the groom’s soft, pastel blue suit was the perfect complement.
