Ciara & Meaghan’s Intimate Wedding at Cator Woolford Gardens & Bold Monk Brewing
When wedding photographer Ciara (Ciara Noelle Photos) and Meaghan began planning their wedding, they felt a tad over-informed about their options. After five years of photographing countless celebrations, Ciara was motivated to make their wedding day different. At the end of the day, she and Meaghan just wanted to celebrate with their favorite people.
So forgoing tradition, the brides envisioned a cozy celebration full of candles and conversation. They found their perfect ceremony venue at the natural and private Cator Woolford Gardens. Beyond its undeniable beauty, the couple loved that the venue’s proceeds support the Frazer Center, a nonprofit on the same grounds where people of all ability levels gather and flourish in an inclusive community. This mission resonated with them personally, making the venue even more meaningful.
With 30 of their nearest and dearest, the couple exchanged vows, wandered the gardens and shared a Martinelli’s toast with meticulously curated vintage glasses. Afterward, they hosted a dinner party for 80 guests at Bold Monk Brewing Co., the very spot where they had their first date in 2021. Every table featured pieces from their home: Ciara’s vintage camera collection, books from their shelves, antiqued trinkets and framed photos of their pups, Fripp and Charley.
From the intimate gardens of their ceremony to the speakeasy, cozy ambiance of their reception, the day felt less like a traditional wedding and more like the warmest dinner party. After years of Ciara capturing others’ love stories through her lens, the couple finally celebrated their own — surrounded by a lively dance floor and the people who matter most.
