Christine and Tyler’s Starlit Celebration at Villa Woodbine

At Villa Woodbine, Christine and Tyler, embarked on a new chapter in their lives. Their journey that began with love at first sight, blossomed through medical school and culminated in this beautiful wedding celebration. As they prepare to graduate from medical school and start their residencies, Christine as a pediatrician and Tyler as a radiologist, their love story forecasts a bright future together.

The story of Christine and Tyler’s love story began during a gap year between their undergraduate studies and medical school. At this time, Tyler worked as a scribe at an emergency department in Pembroke Pines. As fate would have it, Tyler became Christine’s trainer during her onboarding process at the hospital. From the moment they met, they couldn’t stop talking, and a 10-hour shift together felt like minutes in each other’s company. It was not long before Tyler asked Christine on a date, and the rest, as they say, is history. Their bond only grew stronger with time, sharing laughter, deep conversations and a mutual respect for one another.

While they live in Atlanta together now, Christine and Tyler were both born and raised in Florida and wanted to marry there. Their dream venue came in the form of Villa Woodbine, an award-winning historic mansion in Coral Gables located just south of Downtown Miami.

Built in 1931, Villa Woodbine is one of the finest early-20th-century Mediterranean Revival estates remaining in Coconut Grove. With its enchanting oak trees surrounding the spacious garden and a perfect combination of elegance and historical charm in its interior, Christine and Tyler said “I do” in style.

With the venue decided on, more details naturally came into place. Since all weddings and special events at Villa Woodbine are exclusively hosted by Bill Hansen Catering & Event Production, they were in good hands. A custom-crafted farm-to-fork menu delighted guests as they dined al-fresco under the stars. Historic charm and timeless details and added to the sophisticated allure of the evening. 

Beyond the excitement of their wedding day, Christine and Tyler have even bigger plans for their future. They hope to start a family in the next few years, sharing the joys of parenthood and supporting each other as they continue to pursue their dreams in medicine. This Villa Woodbine wedding was the perfect start to their happily ever after.
