Chinoiserie & Charm: Avery & Brett’s Atlanta Athletic Club Wedding
Decked in blue and white chinoiserie, Avery and Brett hosted a classic wedding celebration at Atlanta Athletic Club. With a focus on creating an unforgettable experience for their guests, the couple’s big day was as enjoyable as it was elegant.
The bride envisioned a wedding that was traditional, classic, and full of elegant touches. The design featured white florals paired with blue and white chinoiserie accents, creating a sophisticated and timeless aesthetic. Blue and white ceramics adorned the ceremony and reception spaces, tying the theme together. Avery also incorporated their wedding monogram into various elements, from the cake topper to the napkins and cocktail cups.
The couple hosted their wedding at the 1898 House and the grand ballroom at the Atlanta Athletic Club, the very place where their love story started. Brett, a Georgia Southern alum and golf enthusiast who grew up playing at the club, met Avery while she was working as a cocktail server at the Atlanta Athletic Club and a student at Georgia State. So when it came time to choose a wedding venue, there was no better place than the one they first met.
The ballroom was transformed into a stunning, glamorous setting with crystal strings hanging from the ceiling, surrounding the chandelier above the dance floor. The gold accents throughout added a touch of luxury to the already classic design. As the night drew to a close, Avery and Brett made their grand exit in true black-tie style—a vintage Rolls Royce awaited them outside, with cold sparklers lighting the way.
From the carefully chosen décor to the thoughtful details that reflected their history, Avery and Brett’s wedding was a beautifully orchestrated event.
