Love knows no bounds, and for Christina and Dustin, it all started with a Bee Movie-themed opening line that eventually led to a beautiful love story. Their journey culminated in a breathtaking moody Boho Lux wedding at Chande Pines, a venue nestled within a lush pine tree forest.
The Couple: A Match Made in Statesboro
Christina and Dustin’s love story is a modern tale of two souls brought together by the wonders of technology. They met through a dating app while Christina was in college in Statesboro and quickly formed an inseparable bond. After Christina graduated from Georgia Southern University, they embarked on their journey as a couple, adopting two adorable cats, Luna and Merlin, and creating a loving home together in Savannah.
Chande Pines: Love at First Sight
Selecting the perfect venue is crucial in bringing a wedding vision to life, and for Christina and Dustin, Chande Pines was love at first sight. The venue’s pine tree forest backdrop provided magical grounds for their celebration.
The couple enjoyed working with Chande Pines and Chande Design and Rentals’ owner Tammie. Her passion for design and attention to detail resonated with the couple, making the decision to choose this venue easy. Christina and Dustin took advantage of all the offerings Chande Pines had, including utilizing their rentals, floral and decor and day-of coordination services.
The Perfect Fall Color Palette
Christina and Dustin’s wedding embraced the essence of autumn with a harmonious, October color scheme. Rich rust, hunter green, blush, goldenrod and rose gold accents adorned details throughout the event. From the ceremony decor to the table settings, this color palette made for a warm and inviting ambiance amidst the natural surroundings.
Enchanting Floral Design
Alongside the autumnal color palette, nature played a significant role in the wedding’s design. This boho lux dream was achieved thanks to an abundance of fresh greenery and flowers. Pampas grasses lined the ceremony aisle, adding a whimsical touch, while the reception centerpieces featured a delightful mix of dahlias, roses and eucalyptus. The thoughtful incorporation of faux florals completed the vision, ensuring the beauty of the arrangements lasted throughout the day.
Boho Lux Decor
The wedding design exuded an elegant boho lux style, elevating the celebration in every detail. Flowy textiles draped across ceremony arches and tables added fluidity to the rich texture of the organic florals. Then, the use of gold chargers, antique amber glasses and towering candlesticks contributed to an air of vintage opulence.
Utilitarian decor came in the form of Chande Design and Rentals’ mobile bar, “The Bubbly Bar.” Serving up “Marry Me Margaritas” all night, the adorable rental added a special touch.
