Matcha, Moisture & Mindfulness: A Bridal Beauty Ritual — with Beauty by Beé

WRITTEN BY Brittneé Patterson, Beauty by Beé

When you’re two weeks out from your wedding and your to-do list has become unmanageable, the last thing you want is another checklist. What you do need is a moment, a pause. A ritual that feels sacred. But let’s make it skincare, honey!

Here’s how to create a skin and soul beauty ritual that resets your nervous system and jump-starts a healthy glow:

START WITH CEREMONY

Brew a cup of ceremonial-grade matcha (not that familiar cup of green sugar; I’m talking the real earthy stuff). As you whisk, set an intention.

Mine today? “May my beauty routine always remind me of my worth.” Or for a busy bride, maybe, “I intend to honor my boundaries and limits.”

DOUBLE CLEANSE YOUR ENERGY (AND FACE)

Use an oil or balm cleanser to melt the day away — we’re talking makeup, sunscreen, stress, etc. Then follow with a gentle matcha-infused foaming cleanser. Picture each rinse as a release of expectations. You’ll thank yourself for this later!

MATCHA MASK MOMENT

Apply a matcha green tea face mask — because antioxidants, am I right? Light a candle while the face mask works its magic and burn a bit of palo santo or incense. Breathe; this is the time you’ve carved out for yourself.

HYDRATION & HUMILITY

Layer your serums and moisturizers slowly and with intention. Say something kind to yourself between steps — because you’re not just hydrating, you’re honoring your journey. Don’t forget to take in the fact that you are exactly where you’re supposed to be at this moment.

SEAL IT WITH STILLNESS

Before glam, take five minutes to sit silently, pray or listen to a calming playlist. It’s the vibe shift you didn’t know you needed. Trust me, I’ve tested this method!

Brides, remember: Beauty isn’t just in the products — it’s in the pause. The calm. The way you care for yourself amid all the chaos. Carving out time for yourself is vital. So take a beat, sip your tea and give your spirit the same attention you give your skincare. Love you matcha!
