Atlanta Style Weddings x ChrisFete 2026 Issue Release Party at Waldorf Astoria Atlanta
Dressed in sequins and velvet, Atlanta’s wedding industry gathered on Thursday, January 8, for the Atlanta Style Weddings issue release party at the iconic Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead. Designed as an immersive evening of connection, creativity and celebration, the event invited the city’s top wedding pros to step out of their typical vendor roles and be the guests of honor for a night. Planned by ChrisFête Events, the soirée was sultry, sleek and social — think Studio 54 energy reimagined through a modern, Atlantan lens.
Studio 54 Meets Atlanta Glam
Guests were welcomed into a rich, moody palette layered with deep reds, disco balls, mirrored surfaces and metallic accents, all chosen to accent the Waldorf Astoria’s event spaces. Florist and designer EventScapes Atlanta transformed the space with lush florals, provided by International Fresh Group. Luscious draping and statement lounge furniture came courtesy of Quest Events, while sumptuous velvet linens from Reverie Social tied all the design elements together. Ultimately, every corner offered a vignette worth savoring and capturing.
Guests were greeted by signage and nametags designed by The White Dog Design Co., along with bookshelves from EventScapes filled with glowing candles and the new issue of Atlanta Style Weddings. Before leaving for the night, guests swung back around to the entrance to pick up goodie bags featuring special keepsakes like handmade wine stoppers by A Resin to Remember, tea stirring spoons from Aromas Premium Teas, Tip Top canned cocktails from Electric Events, bottle openers from Emerald Empire Band, notebooks from EventScapes Atlanta, breath mints from International Fresh Group, and a one-of-a-kind Jamie Adams Glass piece.
A Feast for the Senses
This celebration was as indulgent as it was stylish. Guests enjoyed curated bites and cocktails from District Events & Catering, Electric Events, Occasional Occasions by Carlton Catering, Talk of the Town Catering and Waldorf Astoria Atlanta, each offering their own take on elevated event fare. A trio of cake and dessert artists — Artful Cakery by Julie, Frosted Pumpkin Wedding Cakes and Perfect Cake Co — delivered edible works of art, proving once again that Atlanta’s culinary and confectionary talent is second to none.
Meanwhile, the Astor Ballroom stayed energized thanks to Emerald Empire Band, whose performance kept the party going from start to finish. Guests created their own dance floor as the band delivered hit after hit. The energy was electric — exactly what you’d expect when wedding pros finally get to let loose and celebrate together.
Looking Good!
Throughout the evening, Todd Graham Photography captured the smiles and laughter that filled the air — which you can peruse below. Coulter Captured was also capturing the evening, documenting the evening as our social media content creator and videographer. The fun continued at the photo booth by BUTTON IT UP, where guests struck their best poses and walked away with instant keepsakes from the night. And with a party this good, the magic needed to live on long after the last disco ball stopped spinning.
