DESCRIPTION:The State of the Wedding Industry Masterminds are networking opportunities that do what traditional networking cannot. Traditional networking consists of drinks/bites in a room of people you are either trying to get to know or already know and just want to hang out with. \nYou hand out your business card to people you don’t know in hopes of them exclaiming\, “Where have you been my whole life?!” and wanting to book you and give your business money. You nervously try to find just the right time to interrupt other people’s conversation to join them. Basically it’s like middle school or high school all over again. \nOur events are structured in a way to facilitate deep connections because we talk about deep things. We talk about goals\, obstacles\, solutions and fears. We mix up who sits where to make sure everyone meets people they don’t know. We have established local pros getting real about their business and struggles and then sitting in the small groups talking with you. There’s Q & A\, crowd-sourced solutions\, and lots of laughter. \nAt the end\, we have bites and drinks and people continue their conversations during the open networking time. \nEveryone talks\, everyone connects\, everyone comes away with so much more than just business cards to throw away. \nThere’s solutions to problems they’ve been stressing over\, new connections to collaborate with and give business to\, and a newfound sense of belonging and community in the wedding industry.
